Theo van den Broek

Theo van den Broek (1959) is founder and owner of SaarRowingCenter. He started rowing and coaching as a student at Argo (Wageningen). Since 2000 he is a master rowers at Daventria (Deventer). Theo was president at Daventria and member of the Safety Committee. After working as an engineer for 22 years he started his career as a professional rowing coach by founding SaarRowingCenter in 2014. As a co-founder of Stichting Roeicoach Theo teaches coaches and rowers as well. Theo coaches at all locations and explores new locations every season.

Nadine van Wijk

Nadine van Wijk (1973) started rowing in 2011 at URV Viking (Utrecht). She started coaching at her club in the same year and since then coaches juniors and masters at all levels. She was a member of the board at her club, and nowadays active in several committees. She is a member if the Safety Committee of the Royal Dutch Rowing Association (KNRB). Nadine is a teacher at Stichting Roeicoach. After a career as an inhouse lawyer at a bank, she decided to follow her passion and became a professional rowing coach. Together with Rob Kluvers she coaches at rowing clubs in the Netherlands as Ins&Outs Rowing.

She coaches at SaarRowingCenter since 2016 and joined Theo at the management in 2020.

Lars Hoeksel

Lars Hoeksel (1977) started with his first strokes in his youth at rowing club De Were in Purmerend (NL). When Lars attended the Technical University in Enschede, he rowed and coached at rowing club Euros. Lars now has more than 20 years of coaching experience, including 10 years as a professional. Lars has several coaching diplomas at the highest level. Lars is co-founder of Foundation ‘Roeicoach’ (= Rowing coach)  and gives classe where coaches, instructors and rowers participate.

Rob Bilderbeek

Rob Bilderbeek (1952) started at university with race rowing at rowing club Gyas (Groningen – NL) in 1975. After university, Rob continued with rowing at several clubs in the Netherlands. For many years Rob is now member of rowing club Daventria in Deventer (NL). Rob has been coaching since 1978 and got the level 3 diploma of the Dutch rowing association.

Gerdjan de Wit

Gerdjan de Wit (1963) started to row at Wageningen Agricultural University (NL). After rowing for a few years, he started with coxing and coaching. After University, Gerdjan worked as a full-time professional coach at rowing club Aegir (Groningen – NL) for 4.5 years, followed by 3 years at rowing club Argo (Wageningen – NL). Gerdjan has level B (= level 4) coach diploma of the Dutch rowing association.  In 1994 Gerdjan was the coach of the light 4- at the Nationscup (WU-23) in Paris.

Rob Kluvers

Rob Kluvers (1963) has been rowing in Zwolle (NL) since he was nine years old. As a junior he rowed at international level. After his studies in physiotherapy and Human Movement Sciences, Rob took coaching seriously and started working with junior and senior teams on a national level. Over the past 15 years Rob has coached many teams of veterans and masters in various boats. At his own rowing club, Rob has been a member of the Training and Instruction committee for many years. Currently Rob is fa professional rowing coach. Together with Nadine he coaches at rowing clubs in the Netherlands as Ins&Outs Rowing.

Jan van Delden

Jan van Delden (1954) has been a professional rowing coach for over 30 years (amongst others at University Twente).  Jan is licensed teacher Physical Education, owner from CrossFit Twente (NL) (www.crossfittwente.nl) and CrossFit trainer since 2009. He is also strength and conditioning trainer and weightlifting trainer. Jan has a broad experience with coaching rowers: Freshmen,  intermediate and top international rowers as well as veterans and masters.

Felicity Medinnis

Felicity Medinnis (19..) has been rowing her whole life. In addition to rowing herself, Felicity coxes  and coaches on a national and international level. In Geneva, she has coached high school and college rowers. In Zurich she coaches ladies (masters). In Hamburg, Felicity has coached rowers in all numbers and at different levels. She was also responsible for the Masters 1. Ruderbundesliga 8+ in Germany.

Jeroen Brinkman

Jeroen Brinkman (1960) has been rowing since his early childhood. He has been coaching juniors, men and masters. Jeroen has the coach diploma level 4 of the Dutch rowing association. He is also the founding father of the ‘roeiapp (www.roeiapp.nl). Jeroen – as co-founder of the Foundation Roeicoach (= Rowing coach) – regularly givers classes for coaches, instructors and rowers.
