Rowing in Breisach am Rhein

In 2026, we will be offering a rowing course in Breisach/Rhein in southern Germany. Breisach/Rhein is easily accessible by car and public transport. We will be guests of the Breisacher Ruder Verein.

We bring our own boats to Breisach. You row in a single scull (1x), a double scull (2x) or in a pair (2-) from SaarRowingCenter.

For rowers with only experience in team boats and for starters (no rowing experience at all) we bring the Wintech Explorer 24. This boat is easy to row because they are slightly wider than the single scull and therefore have greater stability and balance.

Our rowing water

The old Rhine arm in Breisach has been used for years by international teams and rowing clubs to prepare for competitions. The location is known for its predominantly good weather and excellent conditions. The old Rhine arm is not accessible to shipping. The area is at least 6 kilometers long and several hundred meters wide.
